Volunteers make a vital contribution in achieving our aims, we recognize the added value that volunteers bring to our organization and community. Volunteer involvement in our organization helps us stay rooted in our community while we plant and foster the seeds within our youth through Hip-Hop.
We offer year-round volunteer opportunities including:
Satellite shows
Fundraisers
Writer’s Camp
Summer Intensive
Event Production
Within The Residency, volunteers are involved in:
Registration/check in
Set up and tear down
Assisting with event production
Greeting and ushering event guests
Program preparation and assistance
Assisting with vocal and production workshops
Attending to miscellaneous needs that may occur and much more!!
The Residency aims to have a reciprocal and mutually beneficial relationship with our volunteers; with their involvement informing and developing our work, and our work enabling individuals to learn skills and achieve personal development through their volunteering. Benefits can include honorariums, mentorship, industry experience, travel/food.
